Latest News » GCSE Results 2007

60% of students achieved five or more GCSEs at Grade C or above, the best in the history of the school.

60% of students achieved 5+ A*-C grades, up 8 points from 52% last year whilst 90% achieved 5+ A*-G grades, up from 84% last year. Nine students achieved 9 or more A*/A grades. Against the national trend, boys clearly outperformed girls.

We were also pleased by our A Level results, where the verdict from the independent ALPS assessment described them as "an excellent level of overall performance". Our Key Stage 3 results improved too, 86% of students achieved Level 5, placing us in the top quarter performing schools.
