As part of the Government Future Leaders initiative, the Head, Jacques Szemalikowski and Simon Carter (Associate Deputy Head) joined a group of some 25 English school leaders on a study visit to Boston Massachusetts in October.
The 4 American schools visited were selected because of their urban context, high proportion of Black and Minority Ethnic learners, and their innovative approaches to raising achievement.
It generated a very thought provoking discussion as to how much of what was seen can be adapted for a London, and indeed Hampstead School context.'
