Gifted & Talented
Gifted and Talented students are identified in each subject area at the start of the Year 7. This process is replicated across each year group and our identified register is reviewed at the start of every year.
Our GIfted and Talented programme aims to meet the needs of students by embedding accelerated learning opportunities in all subjects. Faculties share best practice in developing extension activities and improving resources to allow students to accelerate their progress.
Extra curricular activities are also an important part of our Gifted and Talented programme. The school has many links with a wide range of organisations including the BBC, Queen Mary University, Highgate School and the National Theatre. Further links are developed every year and Gifted and Talanted students are regularly involved in an exciting programme of visits and in school enrichment activities.
