Subject overview
The school has excellent sporting facilities including 2 gyms, a dance studio, swimming pool, tennis and netball courts and an offsite astro turf.
All students have opportunities to compete at local, regional,
national events.

All students at key stage 3 receive a minimum of 2 hours of P.E. a week. Lessons are taught in single sex and mixed sex groups and we offer range of sports delivered through the 2008 P.E. National Curriculum.

At Key stage 4 students may be entered for a BTEC qualification, and the Level 1 in sports leadership awards are offered along with opportunity to gain other coaching badges in First Aid, Life Saving, and National Sports Governing Bodies Coaching Awards. | The Sixth Form we run and extensive extra-curricular programme and offer the Community Sports Leaders Award. Hampstead offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities. Many of our students play sports at representative level. |
