We have enjoyed a fantastic start to the new school year, welcoming new and returning students to Hampstead School. As we look forward to the exciting year ahead, I would like to thank our community for ensuring this smooth start and for all your engagement so far.

There will be many opportunities for you and your family to engage with the school this academic year. We will be holding Parent Consultation Evenings, school performances and art exhibitions, as well as our annual Careers Event and International Arts Festival – we look forward to seeing you there!

For our new families, we send a newsletter every second Friday to keep you informed about upcoming events, let you know what’s been happening in school, and inform you of any opportunities for your child. If you ever miss one, these will be available on the Communications Archive page of the school website. Please ensure you check the Whole School Notices and the Year Group Update for relevant updates; we will always give you as much notice as possible.

Hampstead School Open Events If your child has younger siblings or you are connected with friends interested in attending Hampstead School, we are holding several open mornings and one open evening over September and October. CLICK HERE for more information.

School Catering A reminder to check out the school catering page on our website for the most up-to-date menu! The school runs a free breakfast every morning from 08:00 to 08:30, and we have themed food days coming up - burger day on the 19th and a pizza bar on the 25th.

Free School Meals If you make an application to Camden Council and are approved for Free School Meals, please forward the school the confirmation email as we are experiencing delays in receiving this information from them.

Chair of Governor’s Annual Report The report for the 2023-24 school year is now available to review HERE on our website.

Absences and Appointments A reminder that all Parents/Carers need to create a StudyBugs account to let the school know of any absences or appointments.

Work Experience: The Year 10 work experience week will take place between 12 and 16 May 2025. Students (and their families) should source their own work experience placements. The careers team will do its best to find placements for any students who have been unable to find their own, but due to limited resources, we expect to only be able to help a few students. More information has been sent directly to Year 10 Parent/Carers, and is also available on our website in the Communications Archive.

Pre-Public Examinations: The Year 11 pre-public examinations will take place from Monday 4 November 2024.
