Term is flying by fast and life is as busy as ever at Hampstead School!
This week we have hosted our annual Open Evening for prospective students. The evening celebrated the best of what Hampstead School has to offer. We had over 100 students from Year 7 and the Sixth Form volunteer to run tours of the school and each faculty welcomed our guests with fun, interactive activities to show them what learning at Hampstead School is like.
Our fantastic Year 11 musicians welcomed our visitors with beautiful piano themes played on the street and the Year 10 band wowed our guests with renditions of Radiohead classics. The baking club sold cookies they had made to raise money for the charity ‘Stand up to Racism’ in support of Black History Month and our drama students shared performed scenes from Beowulf to guests as they sampled the school’s lunch menu, prepared by our brilliant catering manager, Mr Pradat. The evening was very much enjoyed by all and our visitors praised how warm, friendly and creative the school was.
We are looking forward to two further Open Mornings next week where our brilliant students will showcase the best of what Hampstead School has to offer.
