Last Tuesday, we invited prospective students for next year's Year 7 cohort to attend an open event at the school with their Parents/Carers. It was wonderful coming together to showcase the best of Hampstead School and to welcome our future community – there was a real sense of possibility and excitement in the air. Most notable were our amazing student ambassadors who represent the school so confidently and enthusiastically - thank you to all who were involved.

PARENT GOVERNOR ELECTION

We would like to invite interested Parents/Carers to stand for election as a governor, or to nominate someone else. The school has spaces for four parent governors and there is one vacancy. Governors work in partnership with the Head and Local Authority to manage the school. Their duties are wide-ranging. The current governors would like to ensure that the membership is reflective of the school community and will be encouraging nominations from diverse backgrounds. Please read the following documents and complete the Parent Governor Nomination Form 2024 by Friday 25 October 2024 at 9.00am.

Open Mornings (Y7 2026 Applicants) - 15, 22 and 23 October 2024

If your child has younger siblings or you are connected with friends interested in attending Hampstead School, we are holding our final open mornings over the next week and a half. CLICK HERE for more information.

Camden Mental Health Support Team: Online Workshop Series

The Camden Mental Health Support Team will be running monthly online workshops until June 2025. These are for Parents/Carers and students, and will cover various topics about supporting the mental health of young people. To register or for more information, please click HERE.

Half Term Holidays - Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November

A reminder that the half term holidays will be over the last week of the month. We encourage students to use this time to recoup from the busy first two months of the school year, and to prepare for the term ahead.

Flu Vaccination Registration Reminder

On Tuesday 5 November, Camden Council is offering Hampstead School students in Years 7 to 11 a free flu vaccination during the school day. If you have not already done so, please see information in the Communications Archive or CLICK HERE to register.
