Welcome to the start of the new academic year at Hampstead School!

I hope you and your families had a restful and enjoyable summer break. I am delighted to welcome both our returning students and those joining us for the first time.

Our staff have been busy preparing the school for the term ahead, and we look forward to ensuring high academic standards, as well as supporting the wellbeing and personal development of all our students.

Together, I am confident we will make this a successful and fulfilling year for everyone at Hampstead School.

To our new families, we send a newsletter every second Friday to keep you informed about upcoming events, let you know what’s been happening in school, and inform you of any opportunities for your child. If you ever miss one, these will be available on the Communications Archive page of the school website. Please ensure you check the Whole School Notices and the Year Group Update for relevant updates; we will always give you as much notice as possible.

The PTA at Hampstead School has been quiet for a while. We would love to see it brought back with new energy and purpose.  Reviving the PTA means giving parents a stronger voice, building closer connections between families and teachers, and creating more opportunities for students to thrive. With a fresh start and enthusiastic involvement, the PTA can become a powerful force for positive change—supporting school events, addressing community needs, and making a real difference in the lives of our children. New Menu!

Our wonderful kitchen team have updated the menu for the Autumn term. Check out the rotating menu for your planning on the school website. The school also runs a free breakfast every morning from 08:00 to 08:30, and we have themed food days too. Please note there has been a slight price change, with a Meal Deal now costing £2.90.

School Meals Information

Free Period Products!

Thanks to a Department for Education initiative, we are now able to supply students with free period products. These are available in the female bathrooms and from Reception. Reception also hold a stock of tights, period pants, and menstrual cups.

If you ever need these outside of school time, all Camden Libraries also offer supplies!

Free School Meal Update

Camden Council have informed the school that there was an error and recent applications have not been processed and sent to us yet. We have emailed Year 7 directly, and students in other year groups should contact us if they are affected by this.
