As we come to the end of what has been a short but very full half term, I would like to thank all of our students, parents and carers for your continued support.
There has been a great deal to celebrate. In school, events such as our flagship careers fair have been a real highlight. Beyond the classroom, students have represented the school brilliantly on visits and fixtures, and there has been a huge amount of hard work from our exam cohorts as they complete the final stages of their courses ahead of the summer.
Just as importantly, we have worked together as a community to keep our children safe. The community response to the recent “red versus blue” social media trend was a strong reflection of this shared commitment.
As we head into the Easter break, I wish you all a restful, safe and happy holiday—a chance to reset and recharge ahead of the summer term, but also an important opportunity to lay the foundations for success. Our Year 11 and Year 13 students, in particular, will be working hard at home on their revision programmes over the coming weeks, and I am grateful to families for the support you are providing.
With best wishes to you and your loved ones. I look forward to continuing our work together next term to help every child Think Big, Work Hard and Be Kind.
