Contingency Days

Exam Contingency Date Summer 2026 – Students must be available to sit exams on Wed 24th June 2026. If there is local or national disruption that prevents an exam taking place, it will be rescheduled to this date.

JCQ state: “if students are not available because they are on holiday and one of their exams is rescheduled, they will not be eligible for special consideration by the exam boards. For this reason, the JCQ requests all schools inform parents and students of this date so that it can be taken into account when making plans for the summer.

Exam Results Days

Results collected by a third party need to be authorised in writing by the candidate. Please contact the exam office.

November 2025 English and Maths resit GCSE Results day is on the 8th January 2026.
Certificates are ready for collection and the time table below.

Academic Certificates

You may arrange to collect them by emailing exams@hampsteadschool.org.uk. We will keep the certificates for 12 months after which we will confidentially shred them. Replacement documents will need to be purchased from the awarding bodies, at a cost per certificate of around £45 each.
